The next FSG meeting on Wednesday 7th October in St Nicholas Community Centre, Holmechurch Lane, Beverley will be hosted by Andy Coupe, a Project Supervisor from AOC Archaeology, giving his personal thoughts and reflections on the differences of approach between commercial, academic and community archaeology projects from the perspective of the site assistants and supervisors.

The Field Studies Group meetings are an informal way to learn more about the practicalities of carrying out archaeological work. Led by Matt Walker, our Field Studies Officer, who is also a commercial archaeologist, they are open to all members and prospective members. No need to book, just come along!
